Meet the Coach
Hi, I’m Racheal—welcome! I’m thrilled you’ve taken this step in your health journey. As a Mayo Clinic–trained, National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, I specialize in supporting individuals with chronic conditions through evidence-based, compassionate care. I also hold a Master’s degree in Education and bring five years of classroom teaching experience, which shaped my approach to coaching with clarity, empathy, and practical guidance.
Whether you’re navigating POTS, MCAS, Ehlers-Danlos, or simply seeking a more empowered approach to wellness, I’m here to support you with personalized tools and a collaborative mindset.
Health and wellness coaching is a collaborative partnership focused on helping you create meaningful change. Your coach serves as a guide—supporting you in clarifying your vision, setting achievable goals, and staying accountable along the way. It’s a personalized, empowering process designed to help you build confidence, navigate challenges, and take sustainable steps toward the life you want to live.
Health and wellness coaching meets you where you are. I understand that life with chronic illness can feel overwhelming, and this may not be the moment for major changes. But whether you’re ready to take bold steps or simply want to explore small, sustainable shifts in your daily routines, coaching offers a supportive space to begin.
What you put in is what you get out—and even the smallest changes can lead to meaningful progress. Together, we’ll clarify your goals, uncover what’s possible, and build momentum at a pace that honors your energy and experience.
Absolutely. I’ve had clients worry they might, in their own words, “traumatize” me with the complexity of their health stories—but I promise, after navigating my own medical journey, I’m not easily shaken. I have a strong understanding of conditions like POTS, MCAS, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and Long COVID, and I’ll often ask thoughtful questions about your personal symptoms—because these conditions affect everyone differently.
A little about my own experience: I went from spending middle and high school learning from the couch due to severe POTS, to teaching full-time. I’ve lived through MCAS flares so intense that I could only tolerate water—every other food or drink triggered anaphylaxis. At one point, I needed Benadryl IV drips just to eat. Thankfully, Xolair changed everything for me. With the right treatment and a simplified diet, I’ve reclaimed much of my life—and I’m here to help you do the same, in whatever way feels right for you.
Individual sessions are $80, with an initial intake session priced at $100. Your first two sessions together total $180.

Flexibility & Accessibility
I offer free rescheduling—I understand that living with a chronic illness can be unpredictable. Just communicate as best you can, and we’ll make it work.
If you’re struggling with the cost, please reach out. I reserve a few sliding-scale spots each 10-week period to ensure coaching remains accessible.

Your initial intake session is scheduled for 1 hour and 15 minutes. This extended time allows us to get to know each other, explore your wellness vision, discuss your needs, review our coaching agreement, and begin shaping your goals.
Ongoing sessions are 50 minutes each. These provide space to check in on what’s happening in your life, revisit your goals, and continue building toward the vision you’ve created—at a pace that feels right for you.
At this time, I’m unable to accept insurance. However, the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching is actively working toward insurance reimbursement for certified health coaches—so stay tuned for updates as the field evolves.
In the meantime, I encourage you to check with your employer. Many companies offer wellness stipends or coaching benefits as part of their employee perks, and you may be eligible for partial or full reimbursement.
Yes! Coaching can be a powerful support tool, especially as you begin to navigate life with a new diagnosis. While coaching isn’t medical treatment, it focuses on your day-to-day life and how to improve it in ways that feel manageable and meaningful. I’m here to help you look at your schedule, your care team, and your current understanding of conditions like POTS, MCAS, EDS, Long COVID, and more. Each session is tailored to your symptoms, your goals, and your lifestyle—because no two experiences are the same.
