Support groups are free and anyone is welcome. These groups are designed to get to know people who share the same experiances as you, learn from each other, and make friends. This is not a place to compete for who has it worse.

Please keep to the following rules:
  1. Confidentiality is sacred: What’s shared in the group stays in the group.
  2. Judgment-free zone: All experiences are valid. We listen with empathy, not critique.
  3. No unsolicited advice: Share personal experiences, not prescriptions.
  4. Respect boundaries: Everyone has the right to speak—or to pass.
  5. One person speaks at a time—no interruptions or side conversations.
  6. Use “I” statements to speak from personal experience.
  7. Avoid medical recommendations unless explicitly requested.
  8. Honor emotional safety—no shaming, blaming, or minimizing.
  9. Stay present—phones off or on silent unless needed for accessibility.
  10. Facilitator guides the flow but everyone shares responsibility for group health.
  11. New members are welcomed with warmth and clarity about expectations.
  12. Responses are shared with care: After someone speaks, give them space to feel heard. We avoid jumping in or responding directly to personal shares unless they’ve invited feedback or support.
  13. Feedback is optional and always gentle—ask before offering reflections.
You have the responsiblity to stick to the rules of the group and respect each person. You will be asked to leave the group if you do not.
